Our main focus is on the diagnosis and treatment of retinal and macular diseases – particularly the treatment of the dry and wet forms of age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
The treatment of wet AMD is mainly carried out by intravitreal injection therapy ("IVOM") (antibodies against endothelial growth factors - "Anti-VEGF therapy").
Another focus is on the treatment of cataracts (cataract surgery).
In addition , we also offer routine ophthalmological examinations and treat all typical ophthalmological conditions.
If necessary, a quick referral to other specialists at Focus Retina or the University Eye Clinic is possible.
