Specialist training at the University Clinic for Ophthalmology & Optometry, Medical University of Vienna and habilitation in ophthalmology.
Specialization in diagnostics and treatment of macular and retinal diseases as well as cataract surgery.
Deputy head for > 10 years, since 2025 head of the outpatient clinic for diagnostics and therapy of macular diseases at the University Clinic for Ophthalmology & Optometry with > 10,000 outpatient visits and > 8,000 intravitreal injections per year.
Teaching and research:
Regular lectures, continuing education courses, conference contributions, > 80 publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
QM : Quality Officer & Risk Manager of the University Clinic for Ophthalmology & Optometry.
Focus Retina : since 2021 private/private practice in the premises of "Focus Retina" (Operngasse 8/12, 1010 Vienna), an association of several retina specialists from the University Clinic for Ophthalmology & Optometry, Medical University of Vienna.
